MANAVGAT

Manavgat, with its calmness, peaceful nature, and clean air, is among the preferred holiday resorts of the Mediterranean Region. Manavgat, which has been home to various civilizations from ancient times to the present day, is among the first preferred in domestic and foreign tourism. Manavgat, the second largest district of Antalya, is located on both sides of the Manavgat River and surrounded by the Taurus Mountains. 

Manavgat borders Akseki, Gündoğmuş and Alanya to the east, the Mediterranean Sea to the south and Serik to the west. In addition to the Alara Stream and Karpuz Stream, which form the border with the east, the Manavgat River and the Manavgat Waterfall on it are the most important water resources of the region.

Located 80 kilometers from Antalya, Manavgat, with its natural beauties and historical buildings, contains most of the places to visit in Antalya. Manavgat Waterfall, named after the district, is located 5 kilometers from the district center. The most important source where the waterfall is fed is the Smoky Spring. You can sit in cafes and restaurants around Manavgat Waterfall, which is flooded with visitors especially in the summer months, enjoy your tea against the unique view, and have a trout feast when you are hungry.

Köprülü Canyon, Oymapınar Lake are among the other natural wonders to be seen. Manavgat, which has important places to be seen with its archaeological sites as well as its nature, is home to ancient cities from different times.

Seleukeia Ancient City Located in the Şıhlar village of Manavgat district, the ancient city is home to the ruins of the chapel, two-storey agora and baths belonging to the Hellenistic, Roman and Byzantine periods. Side is the most important tourism region of the district. Titreyengöl and Kızılağaç are also among the most visited places.  Every year in July, the World Music Culture and Art Festival is held in Side at the Side Ancient Theater in Side.

There are also all-inclusive 4 -5-star hotels in Belek as well as individual camping, caravan, hostel or apartment accommodation. It can be adjusted according to various budgets. Transportation to Manavgat district, which is 80 km away from Antalya, can be provided from Antalya airport (70 km) as well as from the bus station. it takes 1.5 hours from the bus station.
